The FOIF F58 is a 72-channel L1 GPS + G1 GLONASS GIS receiver with an integrated 5 MP camera and 512 MB internal memory, expandable up to 8 GB. It runs the Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional operating system and accepts topographic programs based on Windows Mobile. The F58 has an internal microphone and speaker for messages and voice commands, and a scratch-resistant 3.7-inch VGA LCD touchscreen (480 x 640) with very high brightness that stays visible in bright sunlight. It connects to a PC or to total-station / GNSS topographic instruments via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and RS232 serial, and adds an electronic compass and altimeter. With an IP67 protection rating, large keys for gloved use, dimensions of 95 x 30 x 178 mm and a weight of just 530 g, the F58 is built for difficult work environments where lightness and strength are decisive.
